Summary:
This is the furthest North spot I was able to venture into Lake Superior in Minnesota. It’s a very quiet spot and I was the only one here when I visited. I tossed on some waders and went into the water to test my luck.
I ended up finding a very sizable seam agate in a granite matrix here that was unlike anything else in my collection. There were also quite a few large pieces of red hematite jasper, but my collection already has quite a few of those.
Please be respectful of where you explore here, as reservation land begins just North of this highway pulloff.

Here's what the beach looks like up here, facing South.

Multiple varieties of porphyry can be found in this spot, it's vary abundant.

The water was calm and smooth for me.

Oolitic hematite jasper - this is one of the bigger blocks of it I've found over the years.

I believe this is a stromatolite jasper known locally as "Mary Ellen Jasper"

Another variety of porphyry that can be found up here.

Well what do we even call this? It's got agate banding, but they're gray and black. Not your typical find when it comes to Lake Superior Agates.

And of course, some much needed vitamin D.
