Find: Prehnite, float copper, Lake Superior Agates, unakite, patricianite (?)

Summary:
This spot did not match the expectations I had based upon its name. Great Sand Bay was actually filled with rocks, and quite a beautiful variety of them. The second stone I picked up here was a tiny Lake Superior Agate.
That was in late Summer, so I imagine this spot could yield some great finds the earlier you visit in the year. With that said, it did not have many folks picking it over once you made it a little ways beyond the steps to the parking area.

A tiny Lake Superior Agate.

A fascinating piece of prehnite. It appears to have lots of little eyes and twists.

This appeared to be a large Lake Superior Agate nodule, but I haven't cut it just yet.

A closeup of some brecciated material I found. It had very fine, intricate patterning. The breccia in the Keweenaw is awesomely unique.

The beach stretches for miles here. My best finds came from about 2-3 feet of water with fishing waders on.
